One of the break out groups from the early 80's Hip-Hop scene was Brooklyn's Whodini consisting of Jalil, Ecstacy and their DJ Grandmaster Dee. In 1986 they released their third album Back In Black produced by Larry Smith who also produced early Run-DMC albums. Only a few years later and into the 90s and 2000s producers sampled tracks from Back In Black.
